This Privacy Policy explains how ZIAGO TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD ("we") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use EKART. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000, its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

• Account details: name, mobile number, email address and password (stored encrypted).
• Delivery details: the addresses you save or enter at checkout.
• Orders: what you buy, when, and how you pay. For online payments we receive the payment reference and status from the payment gateway, never your full card number or UPI PIN.
• Refund details: for cash on delivery refunds, the UPI ID or bank account you give us (stored encrypted).
• Technical data: your device, browser, IP address and pages visited, used to keep the website secure and working well.
• Messages: what you write to our support team.

How we use it

• To create your account and let you sign in.
• To process orders and payments, arrange delivery and handle returns and refunds.
• To send order updates by SMS, WhatsApp or email.
• To prevent fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and tax obligations.
• To improve the website. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

Only as needed to serve you:

• Sellers: your name, delivery address and phone number for the items you buy from them.
• Logistics partners: your name, address and phone number to deliver or pick up a parcel.
• Payment gateway: to process payments and refunds.
• Messaging providers: to send SMS, WhatsApp and email updates.
• Authorities: when the law requires it.

Each of them may use your data only for that purpose.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active and as long as the law requires afterwards (for example, invoices and tax records). Refund bank details are kept only as long as needed to complete and record the refund.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypt passwords and bank details, and limit access to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password private.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. You can block cookies in your browser, but parts of the website may then stop working.

Your rights

You can view and update your details in My Profile, and ask us to correct or delete your data or to stop sending you messages, by writing to aswini@ziagotechnologies.com. Some records must be kept by law even after an account is closed.

Children

The website is not meant for children under 18 without a parent or guardian.
